My passion is creating a look ‘Ambiance’ using; quality fabrics, opulent trims and many professional years experience in the textile industry. My reward being pride in our customers satisfaction.
As a toddler I have fond memories of visits to my Great Grandma Edith
Ash, who had a shiny black Treadle Singer sewing machine in her front parlour,
which is where I feel my first yearnings to create beautiful things with
fabrics and a sewing machine began.
I received my first sewing machine at the age of nine and by the time school
offered sewing classes in domestic science I was to astonish the teacher
by bringing back my finished skirt to the second lesson, which was supposed
to have kept me busy for the whole term.
A career in textiles was my vocation. There followed thirty five years textile experience in manufacturing production, design, training and quality management, and I also returned to college to train in upholstery.
There is no better accolade than when our happy customers return, and can’t wait to start planning the décor for their next room.
